Industry Forum

The IE2027 Industry Forum brings together companies, startups, researchers and public-sector organisations to explore how intelligent environments can deliver practical value. It provides a space to share experience, discuss deployment challenges and identify opportunities for collaboration between academia and industry.

The Forum welcomes contributions on AI-enabled products and services, the Internet of Things, smart spaces, digital twins, robotics, connected healthcare and other applications of intelligent environments. Particular attention is given to the transition from research prototypes to reliable, scalable and sustainable solutions.

Through industry talks, case studies and panel discussions, participants will explore:

• Real-world applications and lessons from deployment.
• Industry needs and emerging research challenges.
• Commercialisation, technology transfer and startup development.
• Trust, privacy, security and responsible adoption.
• Opportunities for joint research, pilot projects and long-term partnerships.

We invite industry representatives to share both successful implementations and the challenges encountered along the way. Contributions should highlight practical experience, lessons learned and questions that can benefit from discussion with the wider intelligent environments community.
