Call for Papers — IE'27

23rd International Conference on Intelligent Environments · Skopje · 21–24 June 2027

The International Conference on Intelligent Environments is a leading annual venue for research on spaces, systems and technologies that sense, reason, adapt and respond to people and their context. IE’27 invites contributions that explore how AI — including machine learning, generative AI, foundation models, edge intelligence, multimodal sensing and autonomous decision-making — can be embedded responsibly into homes, workplaces, cities, healthcare systems, learning environments, cultural spaces, industry and public infrastructure.

The conference especially welcomes work that combines technical innovation with real-world deployment, user experience, evaluation, ethics, privacy and societal impact. The programme includes full and short papers, posters, demos and videos, a Doctoral Colloquium, special sessions, tutorials, workshops, keynote talks and an industrial forum.

Acknowledgment: The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

Submissions for the Long Papers session and for any Special Issue should be up to 8 pages in IEEE conference Format. Submissions to any of the other tracks should be up to 4 pages in IEEE conference Format.

As with previous editions, all conference accepted papers (long and short in all conference tracks) will be included in a proceedings published by IEEE (Scopus indexed).
