Call for Workshop Proposals
The 23rd International Conference on Intelligent Environments (IE 2027) invites workshop proposals to be held in conjunction with the event.
Workshops serve as platforms for discussions on specific subjects, new research areas, or interdisciplinary fields. Organisers have the flexibility to design these workshops in various ways, including invited lectures, panel discussions, presentations of ongoing work, peer-reviewed short or full papers, or a mix of these elements.
Workshop organisers will be responsible for:
· preparing and distributing the workshop call for papers;
· promoting the workshop through relevant academic, professional, and industry networks;
· establishing a suitably qualified programme committee;
· organazing and coordinating the submission and peer-review process;
· ensuring that all reviews and decisions are completed according to the IE2027 workshop deadlines;
· communicating with authors regarding reviews, revisions, registration, and presentation requirements;
· preparing the final workshop programme; and
· chairing and coordinating the workshop during IE2027.
Workshops will be scheduled in parallel sessions on the first two days of the conference. While it is suggested that workshops last for half a day, they can be extended to a full day based on the interest, available space, and preferences of the organisers.
To qualify for publication, all accepted papers must be peer reviewed by at least two reviewers. Accepted workshop papers are expected to be published as a volume book series subject to negotiation with publishers. For each accepted workshop paper, at least one author is required to register for the IE2027 conference at standard registration rates and must present the paper.
Submission Requirements
Workshops should ideally correspond to one or more topics of interest at the IE2027 conference. Workshop proposals must be in PDF format and include the following:
· An abstract (half to a page) explaining how the proposed workshop aligns or complements the topics of IE2027.

· List of topics of interest.
· Description of the expected structure of the workshop (papers, invited talks, panel discussions, etc.) and its desired length (i.e. half or full day).
· If any, a brief history of the previous occurrences of the workshop (with links to their websites) highlighting the estimated number of attendees as well as the number of submitted and accepted papers.
